Personal Experience & Biography

Jun is a registered clinical psychologist with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1-0321). She has worked across a range of settings, including private practices and non-profit organisations, providing therapy, facilitating peer support groups, and conducting workshops both online and in person. Jun has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges such as trauma, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, and stress related to school or work.

At the heart of Jun’s practice is her belief in the healing power of a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. She brings warmth and creativity into her sessions, often incorporating playful, engaging, and tailored approaches to help clients connect more deeply with themselves. Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, Jun strives to create a space where individuals feel genuinely heard and understood, and supported in exploring, growing, and making meaningful changes in their lives.

Jun’s training also involved extensive community outreach work. She has conducted workshops on mindfulness and interpersonal skills for marginalised communities, including B40 families, children in shelter homes, and survivors of gender-based violence. These experiences have shaped her understanding of working with individuals affected by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and strengthened her commitment to making mental health support accessible and inclusive. Jun hopes to offer both guidance and hope to those she walks alongside, particularly during life’s most challenging moments.
