Personal Experience & Biography
Chia Yan is a clinical psychologist with experience in both hospital and private practice settings, providing psychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She works with a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns, supporting children and families in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Beyond her clinical work, she has experience teaching across ages — from tutoring university psychology students to guiding children aged 3–12 at a local church — which has deepened her understanding of developmental growth and how individuals learn, play, and navigate challenges at different life stages. She is also involved in corporate training and facilitation, equipping organisations with practical strategies to support mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and community.
