Full Assessment: Comprehensive Testing and Report
When is having a full assessment a good choice?
When a child or teen is not meeting developmental milestones (e.g., not reading or writing at an age-appropriate level, or other developmental concerns) or displaying signs of ADHD or Autism (or other-related mental health concerns) a more comprehensive assessment which includes a variety of tests will be useful.
A full assessment provides objective results and is definitive in terms of present level of functioning of the individual being tested alongside the diagnosis (if any).
This information will be helpful to access the appropriate health and mental healthcare services suited to the child or teen, along with undergoing the recommended treatment plan or intervention.
What can be assessed by a full assessment?

- A comprehensive background history of the child/ teen as reference by future clinicians.
- Information of tests administered and all test results.
- An integrative summary of all information, which provides a clear understanding to the reader with regards to the client’s level of functioning and factors that are contributing to the client’s concerns.
- Diagnosis (if any).
- Treatment/ intervention recommendations, alongside practical steps that can be taken by parents and/ or teachers to address the client’s concerns.
