Personal Experience & Biography
Ei Win is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1-0278) and the Malaysian Allied Health Professional Council (MAHPC(CP)00350). She is actively engaged in special education and mental health, with a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of children, adolescents, and adults.
Adopting a transdisciplinary approach, Ei Win integrates various forms of psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), expressive art therapy, and play-based therapy, to cater to the diverse needs of her clients. During clinical sessions, she strives to provide a safe and non-threatening environment, enabling clients to express themselves freely. Her expertise covers a wide range of psychological conditions, including clinical depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship issues, personality disorders, selective mutism, and anger and stress management.
Ei Win’s expertise also includes conducting psycho-educational assessments and diagnosing and intervening in cases of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and specific learning disorders, among others. Her practice extends to providing specialized training, workshops, and webinars for educational institutions and organizations, as well as offering parental training and consultation. Furthermore, she plays a crucial role in coaching and supervising teachers to foster effective interventions and high-quality education for individuals with special needs.
In addition to her clinical practice, Ei Win is also one of the Industry Advisory Members for Taylor’s College. In this role, she provides valuable insights and guidance on curriculum development, ensuring that the educational programs align with industry standards and effectively prepare students for professional practice.
